Beauty in Black and White

It's just under a month to go until we leave the Kent countryside for the Silicon valley of India. I so want to capture the essence of England but with my mind in a whirlwind I can't seem to connect with my imagination. I feel numb with the unknown ahead of me.

  2. This is a wonderful black and white image Laura.
Fantastic focal point and depth of field.

I know it must be scary Laura, but somehow I think that this will be an exciting adventure for you.

  10. That's so exciting, Laura. I can't imagine the anticipation. I'd love to go back to England and travel to France, Spain, Germany, and especially Italy, but can't put feet to my ideas. You're doing that. I can't wait to see India through your eyes. We had two Indian girls we were going to adopt and both died before we could get them. We learned a lot about that wonderful country. One of my favorite books, written by Robert James Waller ("Bridges of Madison County"), was "Slow Waltz in Cedar Bend". The main character has my brother's name, Michael Tillman, and it captures some of the essence of India. Can't wait to see what you find.
